Gina McAtee, Cultural & Tourism Manager
Gina leads the fantastic team at the Mauldin Cultural Center, overseeing the City of Mauldin’s overarching cultural initiatives, tourism development, and vibrant community experiences. Her current role marks a welcome return to the Cultural Center, where she previously served as Event Coordinator before stepping into the role of Special Projects Manager for the city in 2024.
With over a decade of specialized experience spanning municipal administration, hospitality, and large-scale entertainment, Gina brings a wealth of expertise to her leadership. As Mauldin navigates an exciting era of growth, she is thrilled to leverage her background to further elevate the cultural arts, expand the city’s tourism reach, and continue creating memorable, inclusive experiences for residents and visitors alike.
Outside of work, Gina loves spending quality time with family and friends, and she is a proud “cat mom” to her orange tabby, Samwise. You can usually find her listening to live music, playing pickleball, or cheering on the Gamecocks.
Kristofer Parker, Theatre Manager
Kristofer has been part of the MCC theatre family since 2020, having served as both choreographer and director for multiple shows. Kristofer brings expertise in human resources, business analytics and finance, along with many years in the performing arts field, both on and off stage. He looks forward to drawing from 11+ years of local theatre experience to continue building this program!

Caitlyn Pendleton, Event Manager
Caitlyn oversees the planning and execution of all MCC festivals and events, ensuring each one runs seamlessly and creates lasting memories for the community. Before joining the Mauldin Cultural Center, Caitlyn worked as a wedding planner for 3 years, honing her skills in organization, communication, and relationship building. Her passion for creating meaningful experiences and her dedication to details help bring every event vision to life. Her favorite part about event planning is seeing her ideas come to life!
Outside of creating memorable events, Caitlyn loves to spend her time with family and friends. You can usually find her either with a good book, baking sourdough, or on vacation! If you see her around, don’t hesitate to come and say “hey”!
Alex DaSilva, Marketing Coordinator
Alex plans and implements all the marketing efforts for the Mauldin Cultural Center. After moving to Greenville from Charleston, she attended Clemson University, where she graduated with a Bachelors and a Masters in Marketing. While there, Alex had the opportunity to work alongside several small businesses and nonprofit organizations to execute marketing and promotional tactics. She’s thrilled to be back in the community she grew up in and to work with the amazing Cultural Center team.
In her free time, you can find Alex going on a run, hanging out with family and friends, and being a dog aunt to Moose the Chocolate Lab!
Kya Lenaé, Building and Program Coordinator
Kya Lenaé is blessed to be working with a great team at the Cultural Center as the Program Assistant. She is happy to have found a place to grow after leaving childcare to pursue her dreams. She has 5 years of administrative work experience with a passion for the arts and for the people. Kya is ready to serve the community in any capacity she is given!
When Kya is not working, you can catch her on stage or behind the scenes of multiple productions!

MAULDIN CULTURAL COUNCIL
The Mauldin Cultural Council, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, was founded in 2004. The council aims to engage community partners, provoke diverse ideas for economic empowerment, and secure funds for renovations to the Cultural Center’s building, which homes arts, culture, and arts education programming organized by the City of Mauldin’s Community Development Department, thus enhancing the quality of life in Mauldin, S.C.
