Guitar Lessons @ Mauldin Cultural Center

portfolio_block_guitarTaught by Brandon Dyke, the Mauldin Cultural Center hosts a wide-range of classes, including guitar ensemble, rock improvising, and music theory. You can also bring a friend or family member and take paired guitar lessons, which continue to offer more individualized attention than a larger class would, but can add extra fun and motivation as you learn along with someone else. Brandon offers both group and private lessons.

This job fair is a great opportunity for job seekers to connect with employers throughout the area. Fourteen businesses will accept resumes, provide handout information, accept applications and interview on the spot. Roy has been a professional instructor for nearly 30 years and is qualified to teach through the gold level in American Smooth, American Rhythm, and International Standard.

Cindy comes to the Mauldin Cultural Center with more than 20 years of experience in teaching singing, piano, show choir, group classes and conducting church choir. As a teacher, Cindy’s goal is to enhance your talent by assessing your voice and creating the proper technics and skills to enhance your singing ability. She will encourage you to learn to sing the songs that you like. If pop music is your favorite, you can work together to pick out some of your favorite pop songs to work on.

Piedmont Wood Carvers Club Carve-In @ Mauldin Cultural Center

portfolio_block_wood_CarvingThe Piedmont Wood Carvers Club hosts a carve-in every Wednesday evening, 6 – 8 p.m. This unstructured carving session does not require a membership. They also host a monthly carve-in on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and also does not require a membership.

Throughout the year, the Piedmont Wood Carvers host workshops and special classes ranging from intaglio relief to pyrography.
