RENTALS ON HOLD FOR RENOVATIONS
We are currently undergoing renovations to our auditorium and are working to relocate our current classes and programs in our other rooms. To assist with the reschedule, we are not renting our building until those renovations are complete.
We hope to open our facility for rentals mid-2018 and hope you will consider us in the future! Our 2017-2018 season will continue as planned.
ABOUT OUR VENUE
Event & Meeting Rental
The Mauldin Cultural Center is managed by the City of Mauldin and is available to rent for weddings, rehearsal dinners, reunions, performances, corporate events, and art classes. With rooms ranging in maximum capacity from 30 to 150, we’re sure to have the right fit for your needs.
Studio Classroom Rental
We offer studio classrooms for arts educators who provide reoccurring private and group lessons. Rates vary depending on the size and features of each space. Please contact the Mauldin Cultural Center for availability and to learn more: firstname.lastname@example.org.
When making your reservation, please note that the hours of rental must include set up and clean up.
Monday – Thursday | 8 a.m. – 10 p.m.
Friday & Saturday | 8 a.m. – 11 p.m.
Rentals are unavailable on Sundays and all major holidays. All dates are subject to the discretion of the Mauldin Cultural Center.
ROTARY COMMUNITY ROOM – Currently unavailable
Capacity: 64 maximum
Suggested Functions: Parties, meetings, ceremonies, showers
Amenities Included: Ceiling-mounted projector & screen, wireless handheld microphone, audio, DVD player, Wi-Fi, podium, small stage, direct access to catering kitchen, round tables and chairs
Rate: $60 per hour | $480 per day (8+ hours)
VETERANS ROOM – Currently unavailable
Capacity: 32 maximum
Suggested Functions: Parties, meetings, showers, classes, workshops
Amenities Included: Wi-Fi, access to shared catering kitchen, tables and chairs
Rate: $40 per hour | $360 per day (8+ hours)

Rate: Included in all rentals, not available as standalone rental.
Note: All events must be self-catered. Food, beverages and kitchen wares will not be provided by MCC. This kitchen is to be used for warming, cooling and storage. No cooking will be allowed in this kitchen.
C&S WHOLESALE AUDITORIUM – Currently unavailable
This space is undergoing renovations. The auditorium is home to Greenville Ballroom Dance lessons, theater productions, and comedic acts among others. We plan to re-open the space for rentals after renovations are complete, so stay tuned!
OUTDOOR AMPHITHEATER – Currently unavailable
This space is fully booked through September, after which we may re-open the space for rentals, so stay tuned! It is home to our Railroad Concert Series; Beachin’ Fridays; the BeWell Mauldin Market; Trains, Trains, and more Trains; and the Sooie. BBQ Cook-off.
FEES & POLICIES
Reservations & Payment
To reserve your date and time, you must submit a complete rental agreement and a security deposit. You must also provide a completed special event application to book an event in our outdoor amphitheater.
Full payment is due no later than two weeks prior to the start of your reservation. Currently, the Mauldin Cultural Center only accepts checks, cash and money orders. Please make checks payable to City of Mauldin.
Alcohol is allowed in the facility, but all requests must be submitted no less than 10 days prior to event date, the event host must agree to comply with City of Mauldin’s Alcohol Policy, and the request must be approved by staff. All stipulations and components of the policy MUST be met and followed without exception. Some events will require the purchase of Liability Insurance and security. Some events may be required to obtain a Liability Insurance Policy for their event that lists the City of Mauldin as co-insured. If your event carries a “special risk” (e.g. alcohol, inflatables, animals, heating elements, etc.), you may be required to obtain a policy. The City offers a low-cost event-specific insurance program, Tenant User Liability Insurance Program (TULIP), which can be found on the City of Mauldin website.
All rentals require a $100 security deposit. This security deposit is refundable at the close of your event or meeting if the facility has not been damaged or left untidy, and after the completion of a survey. Please allow for up to 30 days for the security deposit to be refunded. Security deposits are not returned to cancellations taking place less than two weeks prior to the event.
Security is required for events serving alcohol. Renters must pay an additional $25* per hour for a security guard. Please contact Sgt. Kara Boyd at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange for security. *Rates subject to change.
Civic groups, non-profits and arts groups receive a 25% discount on rentals, subject to the discretion of the Mauldin Cultural Center. Those booking for a wedding will also have access to one extra classroom for staging, dressing and/or storage, upon request, at no additional cost.

- The security deposit will be forfeited in the event of a cancellation.
Functions cancelled two-weeks in advance may be eligible to receive a 50% refund of amount paid beyond the security deposit.
